Lights & Other Fun Things

Last night, J and I went back down to the Plaza for dinner. It was much more relaxed this time round' since the holidays are behind us. Got some more fun pictures of the lights. Better hurry if you wanna see them - they go off next week.

This was our view from dinner. J was mortified that I wanted to take pictures inside the restaurant. :o) I just love lights...and food.

This week was quite a doozey at work, so Friday night I headed to Houlihan's for dinner with a co-worker to unwind. (J was at basketball.) I always find their coasters entertaining, but this one was especially comical given the hit song - "I'm Sexy and I Know It" - on the radio right now. J and I spent about 15 minutes one day trying to sing "Wiggle, wiggle, wiggle, wiggle, wiggle - Yeah." I'm confident I'll never be able to say that. I'm sure LMFAO would be proud.

The Down Home Pot Roast (honest gold mashers, homestyle vegetables, red wine mushroom sauce) was just the comfort food I needed after this long week. And the best part is...it makes for two meals!

And finally, I had to show off my bright purple sparkly nail polish from New Year's Eve that I accidentally forgot to remove before work on Tuesday. Oops! :o/
